Child Care Teacher
Sycamore Tree Christian Childcare Center is hiring full and part time teachers!
We are open 6:00am-6:00pm on Monday-Friday.
Sycamore Tree is nationally accredited and achieved a 5 star rating from NAC - the highest rating possible!
Full Time Hours:
4 days a week (one weekday off) 7:30-6:00pm
OR 5 days a week with an 8 hour shift
Part Time Hours:
5 days a week 1:00-6:00pm OR
5 days a week 3:00-6:00pm
Benefits include: Childcare discount, paid vacation, paid sick days, health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, education assistance, 401k matching, and more! We provide on the job training, book courses to certify you as a child care teacher, and 1 on 1 orientation.
Some job duties include:
- Caring for children and helping them with their daily needs (diapering, feeding, etc)
- Planning and carrying out lesson plans
- Creating assessments/portfolios on the children in the classroom
- Daily parent communication
- Following the state of WI DCF rules and regulations as well as NAC standards- willing to be trained
Requirements:
- over 18 (High School Diploma in progress or completed)
- nurturing, caring, and patient
Preferred: (But not required)
-Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, Child Psychology, etc.
-Some college credits
-1 years experience
-CPR/First Aid/AED certified
