Job Description
Radio Telecommunications Technician. Provides Expert level program management, administrative and engineering support for communications-based projects.
Required Skills
1. • Eight (8) or more years direct experience with team tactical communications projects and design including ICOM/Motorola/Harris equipment and its use.
2. • Direct experience with team systems including BASIS, GENESIS, approval memos and message preparation.
3. • Solid background in and understanding of current installation procedures (CIP) and field training of personnel.
4. • Ability to explain technical procedures and processes and results of site surveys clearly and accurately.
5. • Strong knowledge of tactical systems
6. • Ability to completely understand and respond to comprehensive tactical requirements
7. • Ability to give details to both technical and non-technical audiences
8. • Ability to adhere to security and safety standards, counter-intelligence and applicable communications policies and procedures
9. • Knowledge of procurement processes, obtain quotes, evaluate equipment lists and BOMs.
10. • Ability to write/respond to team field communications.
11. • Ability to independently perform specialized equipment and system TNI, installations, modifications, and upgrades.
12. • Ability to test, identify, and resolve most tier 1 and tier 2 equipment and system problems
13. • Ability to excel in individual and team environment
14. • Ability to work at heights and successfully complete Fall Protection training.

1. • Former Staff/ TISO experience
