The Swift Group is looking for a Scrum Master who will be responsible for being a servant leader who monitors and improves the processes of Agile Scrum Methodology. This position is located in Chantilly, VA.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Leads the team in meeting team goals
• Facilitates team planning
• Works with Products Owners to groom and prioritize product and team backlogs (backlog refinement)
• Ensures team understands upcoming epics, features, user stories
• Coordinates with other teams as needed
• Leads sprint planning
• Ensures teams review and demo their progress
• Facilitates team retrospectives and implements improvements
• Foster collaboration within and among teammates, teams and other projects

• 5 years of relevant experience
• 1 year of experience as an agile team leader
• Expertise in managing JIRA, Confluence
• Experience leading Scrum teams to produce clear and concise product backlog items
• Experience facilitating Scrum events as requested.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Bachelors degree or five or more years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

• Agile certifications (e.g., Scaled Agilist, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP)
