Job Description:

Estimator Salary Range $75. -$100k. (Depending on Experience)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced New Construction Paving Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating paving projects, possess excellent analytical and mathematical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. As a Paving Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting material take-offs, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities:

- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements.

- Conduct material take-offs and quantify materials required for paving projects.

- Prepare accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

- Utilize estimating software and tools to facilitate the estimation process.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop comprehensive project proposals.

- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

- Evaluate and analyze project risks and opportunities.

- Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing databases and cost tracking systems.

- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to paving.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Paving Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

- Knowledge of paving materials, techniques, and best practices.

- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
