Position: Delivery Assistant
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary Range: $18 - $25

The Superior Group is looking for a Delivery Assistant who will primarily be responsible for loading, unloading, and short-hauling materials. You’ll also support with additional responsibilities at our Advanced Logistics and Manufacturing Facility (ALF). This role is based at our ALF in Gahanna, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and short-hauling materials to and from jobsites and ALF
• Communicate with team members, customers, and vendors in advance of delivery
• Utilize logistics software to confirm deliveries and quality control
• Conduct pre-trip inspection of the vehicle
• Ensure that the vehicle is properly maintained, including fuel fillups
• Support with additional responsibilities such as tool management, facility cleanup, material organizing

• You have a get-it-done mentality and are ready to support with whatever is needed
• You’re responsible and can be entrusted with company materials and assets

Your Expertise

• You have experience with, or an active certification in, forklift and/or material equipment operations
• You’re comfortable with a dynamic and physical job, which means you’ll need the ability to walk, bend, climb, carry, and lift
• You’re familiar with short-hauling materials
• Bonus points if you have your CDL Class A License
• Bonus points if you’re willing to work overtime
