Job Overview:
We are seeking a Health and Safety Instructor to join our team. As a Health and Safety Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals on various health and safety topics. Responsibilities:
- Conduct health and safety training sessions for individuals or groups
- Teach and demonstrate proper techniques for lifeguarding, climbing, sports coaching, and other physical activities
- Educate participants on the importance of physical education and maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- Provide instruction in martial arts, such as karate, and sports like basketball
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to ensure effective learning
- Monitor participants' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate training programs
- Stay updated on current health and safety regulations and best practices

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students in a teaching or coaching capacity
- Knowledge of lifeguarding techniques, sports coaching, and physical education principles
- Familiarity with martial arts, such as karate, and basketball is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate others
- Strong organizational skills to develop lesson plans and instructional materials
- CPR/AED certification is required (or willingness to obtain)
- Cheerleading experience is a plus

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
