The Stern Center for Aesthetic Surgery is Hiring an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner Near Bellevue, WA

We are currently looking to add an experienced Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner who values being part of a team and has experience in medical aesthetics. The Nurse Practitioner functions under the direct supervision of the Medical Director, with appropriate latitude for independent decisions within the bounds of delegated authority and scope of professional practice under Washington State Guidelines. The Nurse Practitioner performs the practice of professional nursing duties in the care and treatment of patients.

Your duties include, but are not limited to: conducting patient consultations, cultivating a practice to enhance and sustain patient loyalty & retention, administering injectable treatments & other aesthetic procedures, communicating treatment outcomes to the supervising physician, maintaining accurate charting and clinical documentation, and ensuring coverage during the absence or unavailability of the supervising doctor.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years specialty related NP experience in medical spa/medical aesthetic setting and in delivery of moderate sedation, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Medical dermatology experience preferred, not required
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Washington
  • Must maintain ALS and BLS certification
  • OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize with a consistently high level of accuracy
  • Must be a team player
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Consistently demonstrate good judgment, strong character and personality, ethics, and high standards of performance
  • Experience in medical office/understanding of cosmetic surgery procedures and skin care products, preferred but not required
  • Additional license requirements as determined by The Stern Center for Aesthetics
  • Able to send a portfolio of work
  • Must exercise mature professional NP judgment and attention to detail in performing all aspects of practice.
  • Moderate physical strength, good visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity are required in carrying out all aspects of the NP role.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate via telephone and telehealth.
  • Must possess understanding of medical confidentiality and ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Must possess technological skill regarding electronic medical record and electronic scheduling. Will be responsible for thorough electronic documentation of patient assessment, patient and family education, surgical and specialty procedural documentation, and other relevant clinical and surgical electronic record keeping.
  • Must maintain good rapport, and effective communication with clientele and Stern Center staff and physicians. Will incorporate a team effort in providing the highest level of patient care. Always maintains a customer service approach in relating to the public, patients, physicians and other personnel.
  • The NP role at the Stern Center requires excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide aesthetic medical services such as cosmetic injections, laser therapy, microneedling, PRP, and threadlifts.
  • Suturing & suture removal utilizing appropriate techniques
  • Proficiency in aesthetic medical treatments and protocols.
  • Ensure exceptional patient care, educate on treatments, and maintain a sanitized work area.
  • Manage appointments, promote clinic services, and maintain patient documentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to uphold a professional atmosphere and adhere to compliance standards.
  • Keep updated on market trends and treatment techniques to apply best practices effectively
  • Collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients
  • General Patient communication
  • Manage appointments (scheduling, moving, and canceling appointments)
  • Actively promote the clinic, treatments, services, products, as well as programs, promotions, and memberships available
  • Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by patients, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
  • Accurately complete patient documentation
  • Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining composure, always keeping the patient as a priority
  • Maintain a professional and clean work environment & appearance
  • Maintain complete confidentiality in all patient matters in accordance with company policy
  • Assist with patient check-in, intake, invoicing, room turn over, and check-out
  • Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by management
  • Excellent guest service skills to address patient concerns and provide personalized recommendations
  • Self-promotion and recruitment of new patients
  • Case review; results of patient procedure outcomes
  • Maintain patient base
  • Educate patients about treatment options and present recommendations
  • Participate in marketing & educational activities, seminars, events in support of The Stern Center for Aesthetics' brand & philosophy
  • Provide superior customer service and develop customer relationships that will result in repeat business with patients to understand their goals and objectives and develop treatment plans to achieve those goals
  • Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements and office protocols (including but not limited to; JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA).
  • Performs other specialized training and skills at the discretion of and under the direction of the MD

Starting from $50.00/hour depending upon experience
