The Sterling Group is Hiring an Automotive Controller Near Whiteville, NC
Duties
- Oversee and manage the overall accounting and financial operations of the dealership
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, regulations, and laws
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and SOX compliance
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting, debits/credits, account reconciliation, and account analysis
- Experience with accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
