The Stephenson National Bank & Trust is Hiring an Universal Banker Near Wausaukee, WI

Responsible for the daily transaction, cash requirement activities and mastering the teller operations according to established policies, procedures, and standards of performance. Provides prompt and efficient customer service in a courteous, accurate and professional manner by the accurate and confidential handling of account information. Possesses knowledge of bank products and services in order to make the appropriate referrals to ensure the customer’s financial needs are met. Supports the bank by reinforcing core values and achieving departmental goals consistent with the strategic plan. Fully adopt software process in daily workflows.

Customer Relationship and Sales Development:

Identify opportunities to recommend the right products and services to meet the financial needs of existing and potential customers. Provide quality service and facilitate the development of lasting relationships throughout every customer interaction. Meet with customers via any available method to help them identify their financial goals and recommend, educate, open and/or refer the appropriate products and services to meet those goals. Participate in training and support the sales initiatives of the bank. Actively contribute to and participate in sales meetings and promotions. Support the Bank Advisory Culture.

Deposit Accounts:

Open new and service existing deposit accounts through a seamless face-to-face, virtual, e-mail, night/day drop, online, or telephone method. Answer customer and staff inquiries. Respond to questions from SNBT initiated surveys, emails, and follow-through with requests for additional information. Perform thorough Onboarding and follow up of all customers and accounts. Review reports of your customers and interactions and ensure they are appropriately fitted with the right products and services. Introduce customers to appropriate staff that would complete a well-rounded, successful financial relationship with the bank.

Retail Operations and Compliance:

Maintain and grow current level of knowledge regarding the bank’s compliance, new account documents and teller procedures and policies. Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of Online services to accurately advise customers in enrollment processes. Perform operational tasks including but not limited to; approve debit card applications, open and close safe deposit boxes, etc.

Transaction Processing:

In addition to all UB I role accurate transaction processing requirements, maintain adequate working funds as required by bank policy. Verify endorsements and cash checks according to established policies and procedures. Fully utilize the TCRs. Fully understand and engage customers in utilizing the eTeller for transactions. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Enhance the customer experience by promoting the bank’s digital channel transaction capabilities to allow time for an advisory relationship with the customer.

Strategic Goals:

Supports the bank by committing to and reinforcing SNBT’s premier culture, core values, and team relationships. Commitment to personal, bank wide, and departmental relationships and goals. Partners closely with Banking Office Manager to support the strategic goals developed to achieve growth and customer satisfaction. Understand and encourage the bank’s digital objectives while contributing to the management of risk, operational efficiency, and overall strategies of the Bank. Provide encouragement and coaching/training as applicable to less experienced Universal Banker I & II staff.
