We are seeking a visionary and strategic Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of our AI and machine learning initiatives. The Solutions Architect will serve as the technical expert and thought leader, guiding our organization in leveraging AI to drive business value and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI/ML architectures, a track record of delivering impactful AI solutions, and strong stakeholder management skills. This position reports directly to Director of IS Solutions.

• Architect and design scalable, robust, and secure AI and ML solutions that align with business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the Director of Solutions, IS Operations, data, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact AI opportunities
• Develop technical roadmaps, select appropriate AI/ML tools, platforms, and frameworks, including Azure AI services and OpenAI solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentor data analysts and developers to ensure adherence to best practices and architectural principles
• Stay at the forefront of AI/ML research and industry trends, and provide thought leadership on how to incorporate them into our solutions
• Act as an evangelist for AI, educating the organization on the potential of AI and driving adoption of AI solutions
• Define and track key metrics to measure the success and ROI of AI initiatives
• Collaborate with data governance and security teams to ensure AI solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Fabric to enhance productivity and solution quality

Qualifications

• Master's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
• 5 years of experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions at scale
• Deep expertise in AI/ML architectures, techniques, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages used in Generative AI solutions
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience leading and mentoring AI/ML teams is a plus
• Industry certifications such as Azure AI Fundamentals, Azure Data Scientist Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or similar are a plus
• Experience with Azure AI services (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning) and OpenAI solutions for AI/ML preferred
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Fabric Experience with Microsoft Fabric for data integration, management, and analysis preferred
• Knowledge of Azure cloud computing platform and its AI/ML offerings preferred
