The annual salary for this position is up to $79,000 based on education and experience.
Job Description
This position serves as the Coordinator of the Enforcement Division in Consumer Health Service (CHS) and has a wide range of duties and responsibilities.
This position may represent CHS at statutorily mandated advisory councils such as the Consumer Protection Licensing Advisory Council, the Sanitarian and Environmental Registration Advisory Council, the Advisory Committee on Midwifery, and / or the Food Service Advisory Council.
Additionally, Additionally, this position is required to provide relevant and accurate information through research, the attendance of trainings, and / or meeting with internal and external subject matter experts to ensure rules and statutory requirements are enforced.
This position will be an integral part of the CHS quality assurance team and will need to work with area managers to ensure smooth and accurate information exchanges.
This position will coordinate the enforcement process for the following areas : Bedding, Food, Lodging, Licensed Genetic Counselors, Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters, Medical Micropigmentation, Tattooing, Body Piercing, Licensed Midwives, Diagnostic X-Ray Systems, Pools, Sanitarians and Environmental Specialists, and other areas as assigned.
This position will lead focused quality improvement projects with internal and external partners to promote compliance with public health standards.
This position is responsible for protecting public health and safety of the consumer by implementing and following enforcement protocols.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and four years of consultative or administrative experience in public health, public administration, business, social work, or guidance and counseling, or a closely related field;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree and four years of managerial, consultative or administrative supervisory experience in public health, public administration, business, social work, or guidance and counseling, or a closely related field;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
Valued Knowledge, skills and abilities
Knowledge of state laws and rules relative to Occupational Licensing Division programs, skills in planning, coordinating and evaluating the activities of the program areas, and skills
in applying supervisory principles and practices.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This job is based out of the central office and may require occasional travel
