Compensation: $55,687.50 annually. Salary may be dependent upon the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

  • Provides administrative and program supervision to multiple staff while ensuring that agency programs are operational in accordance with federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates operations and workload trends to ensure that work is completed, customers are served, and deadlines are met.
  • Holds scheduled conferences with staff and provides constructive feedback on management of their caseload, work with customers and reaching decisions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, health sciences or related field as determined relevant by the agency and two (2) years of field experience with a child welfare agency, child care institution or agency performing human services or health sciences functions. Individuals pursing course work toward licensure in social work, professional counseling or marriage and family therapy have preference; however, licensure by Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) is not required at time of hire.

Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
