The Staffing Alliance is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Saint Paul's to perform work that involves repairing mechanical equipment and repairs of building structure. This position is in a manufacturing setting.

Pay and Hours for Maintenance Technician I:

• Monday-Friday
• 1st shift hours
• Temp- To-Permanent
• Weekly Pay

Physical Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

• Requires 8 hours of standing/walking daily.
• Must be able to team lift upwards of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull upwards of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to bend/stoop/twist, crouch/squat, reach above and below shoulders.
• Requires repetitive arm, wrist and hand movements.

Requirements for Maintenance Technician I:

• 3 years Experience: Maintenance Repair
• 3 years experience in Manufacturing Environment
• Must have electrical experience
• Must have fabrication or/and welding experience
• Must have High School Diploma/ GED Equivalent
• Must have Knowledge of General Maintenance
• Proficient in High-Low pressure fluid systems
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles & Practices

Essential Job Functions for Maintenance Technician:

• Checks and tests machines and equipment by looking at them and listening to them to find any problems.
• Talks with supervisors or other workers when machines make strange noises or work differently, to figure out what's wrong and fix it.
• Takes apart machines that aren't working right, and puts in new parts or fixes the old ones.
• Cleans and oils parts of the machine like shafts, bearings, and gears.
• Puts in and fixes electrical stuff like transformers, wiring, and parts of machines that use electricity.
• Puts together, sets up, and looks after pipe systems and equipment for moving liquids and air, and fixes or replaces things like gauges and valves.
• Keeps the building in good shape and fixes it when needed.
• Uses tools like lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to make or fix parts, tools, and other things.
• Uses a torch or welding gear to cut metal parts or stick them together.
