The Staff Pad is Hiring a Senior Civil Engineer - Potential Sign-On Bonus! Near Reno, NV

The Staff Pad is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Transportation, Traffic, Utilities, Water, and/or Electric systems for our client in Reno, Nevada. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the design, implementation, and management of various civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nevada and California, with expertise in diverse civil engineering domains.
Responsibilities:
1. Transportation and Traffic Management: Lead and contribute to the planning, design, and optimization of transportation infrastructure, focusing on traffic flow, roadways, and transportation systems.
2. Utilities Planning and Management: Oversee the design and implementation of utilities infrastructure, including water and electric systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
3. Project Oversight: Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in Nevada and California, particularly in the realms of transportation, utilities, and civil engineering.
5. Collaboration and Team Leadership: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
6. Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identify and address challenges in civil engineering projects, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
7. Client Liaison: Interface with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to address project requirements and concerns, maintaining strong professional relationships.

Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nevada and California is mandatory.
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on transportation, traffic, utilities, water, and/or electric systems.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for civil engineering design and analysis.
-Civil 3D experience is required
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Valid Driver's License is required for this in-person position.
-Occasional travel may be required​
