Description

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Part-time sales associate. You will be responsible for opening /closing the store each night. Cleaning up the store, preparing the cash drawer, managing bank deposits and closing the system down each day. You will be responsible for greeting and selling to all guest to optimize guest experience and sales. If you are team-focused, trustworthy and want to expand your retail career you will be the perfect fit for the evening sales associate position.

• Provide customer- focused service; welcome guest and homeowners to the store and assist them with request. Treat all guests with dignity and respect and greet / welcome everyone within a 5ft range of your person. Some examples of this: “Good Morning Welcome to the Powder Room”, “Hello, and welcome what information can I provide you with today”, “ Thank you for stopping in, did you find everything you were looking for today”
• Prepare and copy information verbatim as listed on the 4473 form, Driver’s license, and related paperwork as pertains to a firearms purchase. Must make sure the serial number on the firearm is the serial number on the paperwork.
• Must be willing and able to suggestive sell / up sell other supporting equipment and accessories with ease to include but not limited to ammunition, cleaning gear, hearing and eye protection, targets, holsters, magazine pouches, sights etc.
• Be able to clear and make safe all types of firearms to include rifles and pistols and ensure every firearm being brought into the range is completely clear and safe. If a guest needs to clear a firearm, they are to be directed to a clearing barrel to do so under a sales associate’s supervision. Under no circumstances is someone allowed in the door with a loaded firearm.
• Inspect all outside ammunition to ensure only training rounds or ball ammunition is to be brought into the training center, strictly prohibited are incendiary cartridges, green tips / armor piercing cartridges or steel cased ammunition.
• Maintain displays, restock and back fill all counters, shelves and display cases as needed maintaining an aesthetically pleasing look and clean workspace. Clean and dust display cases and put away priced product.
• Possess good business acumen basic math skills and the ability to handle cash, run credit cards and reconcile a cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift and manage bank deposits.
• Ability to open / close retail store by having the responsibility of closing the cash drawer nightly
• Process purchases, returns and exchanges
• Help organize back stock and perform inventory counts
• Process new shipments, check in and verify serial numbers
• Organize and replenish stock on the sales floor
• Take direction from and report to assigned manager
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals

Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Primary responsibilities will include opening / closing the store while being trusted with managing bank deposits and balance points on the cash drawer. Must be able to assist all guest with any need and process purchases, exchanges and returns.
