Overview

Our client has a direct hire opening for a CLEARED DevSecOps Engineer in their Fort Belvoir, VA location. In this role, you will be tasked with constructing and configuring new development tools and infrastructure, utilizing expertise in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration, and Security. This role entails building and testing comprehensive CI/CD pipelines to ensure system resilience against security threats.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a TS/SCI with FSP.

Responsibilities

• Automate and deploy DevSecOps systems proficiently.
• Develop and update Terraform scripts to bolster DevSecOps systems.
• Utilize GitOps tools like FluxCD to create, manage, and deploy Helm Charts to Kubernetes clusters.
• Collaborate with Platform One suite of services, including Party Bus and Big Bang.
• Troubleshoot and manage Kubernetes technology, encompassing pods, services, custom resources, and custom components

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, plus with 5 years of engineering experienceOR 10 years of engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1 years of experience using agile methodologies in the system development life cycle.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code/Configuration-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Pulumi, Cloud Formation, Ansible).
• 1 years of experience with Kubernetes.
• DoD 8570/8140 certification is required
• 1 year of experience with Commercial Cloud Services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a huge plus
