The Sprucery Garden Center (“the Company”) located in Franktown, CO is searching for a Driver and Equipment Operator. The Company is one of Colorado’s largest tree nurseries and garden centers. It is a favorite of customers and offers a unique and diverse selection of shrubs, flowers, and trees. Your job will be to drive our tree planting crew to customers’ job sites and homes and help with the planting of the trees.

Core Responsibilities

The Driver and Equipment Operator is responsible for safe, accurate, and timely deliveries of products and equipment to customers. The delivery activity is from the Garden Center in Franktown, CO daily out to the areas of Aurora, Centennial, Parker, Castle Rock, Elizabeth, Monument, and Colorado Springs. Supporting delivery in these areas will meet the needs of our customers. Help us make The Sprucery Garden Center the local garden destination.

In this role you will:

· Transport and deliver products and equipment in a safe and timely manner.

· Help the planting team to load, unload and plant material delivered to customers.

· Maintain paperwork to record deliveries and company provided DOT logbook as needed.

· Communicate with customers and client representatives throughout the shift.

· Conduct pre and post shift vehicle inspections.

· Operate skid steer equipment in the tree nursery.

· Maintain customer facing presentation.

Preferred Experience

· Bi-Lingual – Spanish Speaking

· Valid driver's license in Colorado

· 21 years of age

· Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR.

· Able to safely walk, bend, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel daily with at least 50lbs.

· Employment is contingent on completion and passing of a drug screen.

Compensation

· $22 per hour

· Sick time and Paid Time-Off

· Overtime available
