The role of the Medication Technician are as follows

• Administers or assists residents to self administer medications and treatments;
• Measures vital signs and weight; and performs other health services tasks.
• Communicates with physicians, implementing physician orders, and reporting and documenting pertinent information.
• Works closely with home health, hospice, and pharmacy services

Managers carry a staffing phone to cover shifts and find coverage in the event someone cannot make it into work.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Starting at: $17/hr - $21/hr Depending on Experience
Available Shifts (3):

• Day/Swing Split Shift: Two days day shift 6:00AM - 2:15PM, two days Swing shift 2:00PM - 10:15PM
• Overnight (NOC): 10:00PM - 6:15AM
• Schedule: 4 days on, 2 days off - rotating schedule
• Two shifts in Assisted Living and two shifts in Memory Care

Unique Opportunity:

• Two shifts caregiving and two shifts medication technician
• Great opportunity for someone with caregiving experience wanting to grow into a medication technician

• Caregiver/ Medication Technician: 2:00PM - 10:15PM in Assisted Living
• Schedule: on 4 days on, 2 days off - rotating schedule

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age
• Prior experience as a caregiver or have medication management experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug screen
• Genuine love for seniors and a willingness to learn
