The Springs Living is Hiring a Plant Operations Director Near Wilsonville, OR

Description The Springs at Wilsonville is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Director for a one-of-a-kind Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Wilsonville, Oregon.
The ideal candidate for the Director of Plant Operations position should have a blend of technical skills and experience, demonstrated leadership experience, and a compassionate attitude toward seniors and their well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Management or Supervisory role managing and supporting employees
  • 5 years experience in building/facility maintenance leadership role.
  • Customer Service experience
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with employees, residents, families, and external service providers
  • Problem-solving ability, especially in the context of facility maintenance and emergency response
  • Maintains current and appropriate driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Budget Management experience managing budgets, including the ability to order supplies and manage costs effectively
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to facility management and communication systems

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assures proper and consistent daily maintenance and housekeeping of facility interior and exterior, including residents' apartments, common areas, offices, storage rooms, and kitchen, by performing or supervising maintenance tasks or facilitating such performance by contracted maintenance services personnel.
  • Interviews, hires, supervises and supports reporting positions.
  • Repairs facility equipment or facilitates repair by contracted maintenance services personnel.
  • Collaborates with sales team to ensure timely room turns and delivery of exceptional resident move-in experience.
  • Assures all equipment and supplies related to maintenance tasks are stored appropriately and safely.
  • Serves as the contact person for all resident/employee phone, cable, and computer issues, security cameras, door locks, Ciscor, and any other building-wide systems.
  • Performs duties associated with facility emergency preparation and response systems, including but not limited to fire safety.
  • Orders maintenance and housekeeping equipment and supplies, adhering to department budgets.
