The Spine & Pain Center is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Muskogee, OK

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to become part of our team. The perfect candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong administrative abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This position involves overseeing front desk operations and assisting with various administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Respond to incoming calls and assist patients as necessary.
  • Direct calls to the relevant parties.
  • Handle payment collection and balances.
  • Scan patient documentation.
  • Maintain updated patient charts, including demographic and insurance changes.
  • Manage voicemails.
  • Process incoming and outgoing medical record requests.
  • Reconcile daily paperwork and prepare for the following day's tasks.
  • Return clinical documents to referring providers.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient and employee information across all communication channels.
  • Greet patients, clients, and vendors upon their arrival.
  • Execute check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain patient records accurately.
  • Operate a multiline phone system, routing calls appropriately.
  • Organize patient paperwork and print clinical documents for the Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
  • Collect patient payments and assist with medical records management, filing, and organization

Additionally, the ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist, or in a similar front desk role
  • Familiarity with medical records management and medical scheduling systems
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
