Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Intern

Role Overview:We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Interns to join our dynamic team at CASA Speech Therapy. As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Intern, you will have the chance to work closely with our experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), gaining hands-on experience in supporting assessments, treatments, and therapy sessions for pediatric patients. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to the field and a platform to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed SLPs in conducting therapy sessions with pediatric patients.
  • Participate in preparing therapy materials and setting up therapy environments.
  • Engage with children in therapy activities under the supervision of experienced professionals.
  • Document patient responses and progress during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with the therapy team in adjusting treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Support administrative tasks related to patient scheduling and documentation.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute insights to patient care discussions.
  • Participate in learning and training opportunities provided by the clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program or related field.
