The Sign Store is looking for Installers for the Macon, Georgia store.

The Sign Store is a custom sign shop. We have a full turnkey production facility that designs, fabricates, and installs a variety of residential and commercial indoor/outdoor signs ranging from yard signs to billboards and more. We serve all of Georgia and the surrounding states. Our commitment to produce only high-quality work with integrity has given us our reputation and it shows in all our work.

At the Sign Store, we have teams of Installers. The Lead and Journeyman Installers work with each other in a synchronized fashion. The Journeyman Installer assists the Lead with prep work and utilizing their time providing what is needed to the Lead Installer when needed. Our Journeyman Installers learn and grow to eventually become Leads. This team will need to work well with each other, get along, and perform with the highest standards for quality completion of work. Must be willing to work overtime and travel overnight if needed.

• Installers are paid from the time you clock in until you clock out. This includes driving time even when you travel.

• Ability to ensure signs are secure and inspect for proper installation and completeness.
• Must inspect and maintain all tools, equipment, and vehicles daily.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be drug free.
• Must enjoy working outdoors in all-weather elements safely.
• Have the desire and ability to work until the job is complete daily.
• Have the desire and ability to work overtime Monday - Friday (8–12-hour days)
• Represent The Sign Store and protect our image by always working professionally, keeping vehicles clean and organized and following all safety policies and practices.
• Safety is our number one priority! All installers must wear provided uniforms (including T-shirts, sweatshirts, coats, etc.) always. All installers must practice safety on the job by following all safety policies and wearing hard hats and lanyards at required times. Any variation in safety practices is prohibited.

Skills and Requirements (with the ability to demonstrate if necessary):

• Prior sign installation preferred.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to back a trailer.
• Ability to work in small spaces, withstand heights, work in all-weather elements safely.

As an installer at any given time, you may have to dig a hole, tear down an old sign, lift, bend, pull, push, climb, stand for long periods of time, work in all weather conditions (except dangerous weather conditions, lighting, severe weather, etc.). Installation, troubleshooting and repair, drive and/or operating a commercial truck (bucket, auger, crane), welding and basic electrical are a must to install signs. Training will be provided if necessary.

Education:

High school diploma/GED, Class B CDL, CDL CLASS A (preferred for Installers, will help obtain if needed)
