Receptionist - Job Description

The Shul of Bal Harbour is looking for a Receptionist. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for all guests, members, students and parents. Key responsibilities include greeting guests upon arrival, explain how to navigate the office, answering and transferring phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct all phone calls
• Greet all office guests
• Manage and organize the front desk
• Schedule meetings, client visits and organization events
• Stock the copy room, order copy ink cartridges
• Collect the out going mail
• Provide administrative support to office staff
• Answer guests, members, students and parents questions
• Process new members and maintain member directory
• Update items on the visitor section of The Shul’s website
• Assist with the weekly bulletin magazine
• Count the Tzedakah cash /coin to prepare for bank deposit by accounting

Preferred skills and qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional demeanor
• Relevant prior work experience
• Bilingual, English/Spanish or French helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.77 - $19.03 per hour
