This position is responsible for following policies and procedures for inventory control, assisting with cycle counting policies and periodic physical inventory audits, and following inventory practices. Specifically, the responsibilities of this position include:

Job purpose

The purpose of the IC Clerk position is to help the department ensure that all product is received efficiently and correctly documented.

Duties and responsibilities

• Daily Batching
• Monitor In house cuts
• Monitor inventory accuracy
• Monitor audit locks and hold locations
• Perform "perfect building walks"
• Put away case and tote returns from routes
• Research out of stocks
• New item mapping
• Product maintenance
• Quality holds

Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities:

• Add new items to system
• Process in house damages
• Monitor product date rotation
• Process cycle counts

Qualifications

• 2 years inventory experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• SAP/WMS experience/background preferred
• RF Scanner experience
• Proven organizational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem solving ability.
• Math skills.
• Strong strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products, including MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Must be highly organized with attention to detail.
• Works some weekends
• Facilities training as needed
• Strong business acumen, organizational, problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative and influence skills

Working conditions

Warehouse environment may or may not be climate controlled. Heat, cold, dust, loud noises and repetitive sounds. This list is not all inclusive other environmental conditions may be present.

Physical requirements

Sit, Stand, Stoop, walk, bend, lift 40lbs. or more, hand and eye coordination, computer screen viewing, and repetitive movements. This list is not all inclusive, other physical requirements may be required.
