The Ship Group Services is Hiring a Mental Health Clinical Director Near Charlotte, NC

We are a Comprehensive Behavioral Health Agency (CABHA) dedicated to providing top-notch mental health and substance abuse services to our community. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Clinical Director to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.

Position Summary:

The Clinical Director will oversee the clinical operations of our agency, supervising non-medical clinical staff, developing and implementing treatment protocols, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of effective and compliant mental health and substance abuse services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision and Management:

- Oversee and document the supervision of all non-medical clinical staff.

- Conduct monthly clinical staff meetings.

- Provide training and development for new clinical staff.

- Foster a supportive and educational environment for clinical staff.

2. Clinical Protocols and Quality Assurance:

- Design and support the implementation of treatment and best practice protocols in collaboration with the Medical Director and Agency Director.

- Collaborate with leadership to develop training and supervision plans for new clinical and program staff.

- Review and approve clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, providing edits and coaching to clinical staff.

3. Collaboration and Community Engagement:

- Develop collaborative relationships with local management entities/managed care organizations (LME/MCO), primary care physicians, Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC) networks, community psychiatrists, and other providers.

- Engage with consumers and their families to enhance the local system of care.

4. Monitoring and Reporting:

- Monitor and track data regarding the delivery and quality of treatment services.

- Analyze data on core services, emergency department admissions, crisis admissions, psychiatric hospitalization admissions, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Must be fully licensed in North Carolina as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

- Experience:

- At least two years of full-time, post-graduate direct service experience, including face-to-face treatment and interventions for clients with mental health or substance abuse disorders.

Employment Details:

- The position requires and set for 20 hours per week.
