Job Description

Sherwin-Williams is now hiring Regional Class A Drivers! You can earn an average of $108,000 - 113,800 annually and enjoy the stability and security of being a part of our growing Award-Winning private fleet. APPLY NOW AND JOIN OUR TEAM! What we will offer you:

NEW RATE ! - $.75 cpm, plus activity pay and quarterly safety bonus
$ 1000 transition pay at the end of your first week
consistent freight and miles
company-paid pension
401K with 100% company match up to 6%
weekly home time by weekend - 34 hr. reset and more
2018 & newer Volvo automatics; w/APU, inverters, refrigerators and premium seats
dedicated sleeper tractor units; primarily pulling 48' trailers
weekly payroll

paid vacation and holidays
paid orientation and training

What you will do:
As a Regional Class A Driver for the Sherwin-Williams Award-Winning Private Fleet, you may travel within the 13 states of the Northeast region and Canada based on business needs. Work could include moving product between distribution centers, taking raw materials to manufacturing facilities, store deliveries (requires freight touch with pallet jack), and any other services related to business needs. **This position will also work as a back-up driver for deliveries into Canada from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia** Drivers are required to maintain accurate DOT trip logs, conduct vehicle inspections and comply with all DOT regulations.

Job Requirements

What you need to be successful:

Must be at least 23 years of age
Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License
Must have, or be willing to obtain, both a Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsement
Must have at least 2 years of Class A combination (tractor/trailer) driving experience within the last 10 years
Must have an active US Passport or ability to renew / acquire and willingness / ability to cross the US - Canadian border
Must have the legal right to work in this country without needing sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of Class A Combination (tractor/trailer) driving experience in the last 5 years
Tight backing experience
Freight touch experience
Similar driving type experience
