DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for credible and motivated Operational Specialist with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and efficient warehouse support with safety being a priority.

Valid Drivers License Required

Position pays based on experience, salary ranges from $18-23/ hour.

Duties and Responsibilities -

• Focus on safety at all times – safety training and direction must be adhered to at all times
• Including picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away. (Estimate-50% of the time in the warehouse)
• Provide customer onsite Vendor Managed Inventory replenishment of PPE products for customers as scheduled (Estimate-50% of the time out of the warehouse)
• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed
• Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management
• Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, Assistant Managers and Supervisors in accordance with other Management Team members
• Perform additional warehouse duties that may arise and assigned by management

Skills and Requirements -

• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• AS400 experience is preferred
• Palm pilot / RF training a plus along with formal warehouse equipment training
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma / GED equivalent
• Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen
