The Analytical Lab ensures our products meet all regulations before they are delivered to our customers. We are seeking a team-focused chemistry professional who can handle multiple timelines and expectations and who can complete their work with excellence.
Note: This role requires working Sunday - Thursday from 7:30am to 4pm. The first 6-8 weeks of training will take place Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Transcripts will be required for those with under five years of work experience.
Pay starts at $27.04/hour
Job Responsibilities
  • Write reports based on data from chemical and physical analysis in response to requests for information.
  • Perform chemical analyses necessary to generate data for requests
  • Help maintain the laboratory's capability to efficiently perform tests of high quality.
  • Maintain analytical chemistry records.
  • Maintain an awareness of current analytical chemistry methods of interest to the laboratory.
  • Assist in analytical development projects and supplier evaluation projects.
  • Understand, help implement, and maintain the Quality System in the Analytical Laboratory.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities, as necessary.
Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
  • Analytical chemistry lab experience. (Course work which includes laboratory quantitative analysis and instrumental methods of analysis is acceptable).
Required Skills
  • Crucial understanding of the methods used in the laboratory, including scopes and limitations of methods.
  • Good technical writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of computers to acquire and analyze data, store and retrieve information and generate reports.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of statistics and other mathematical methods used to acquire and analyze data.
Work Environment
At times, you will be exposed to cold or hot, dusty and noisy surroundings.
