THE SHELBY STATE BANK is Hiring a BRANCH ADMINISTRATOR Near Shelby, MI

Position Description: Overview:
This position is responsible for supervising and administrating all activities of the branch offices to ensure that established policies and procedures are followed for efficient and effective branch operations. They will work with the President & CEO to develop branch objectives and define steps necessary to achieve them, as well as working with the Bookkeeping Supervisor to ensure timely completion of all duties.
Responsibilities and Results:
Directly supervise all branch supervisors and branch managers
Communicate regularly and constantly with branch supervisors and managers regarding policies and procedures to ensure their proper adherence
Coordinates hiring and training of branch employees
Monitors and approves annual evaluations of branch staff by supervisors/managers
Performs annual evaluations for all branch supervisors and managers
Handles complex problems, reports and customer dissatisfaction as they arise
Must be available for assistance and support for all branch personnel, including tellers, customer service representatives, and supervisors
Communicates changes and requests from management to branch supervisors/managers
Creates, reviews, and updates branch personnel job descriptions as needed
Reviews monthly branch audits and security reports and scans documents for retention
Performs annual Safe Deposit Box Audits for each office
Assists in preparing annual budget for Branch Operations
Monitors and approves all branch supply and maintenance orders
Will attend additional training or staff meetings as required
Assists in upgrade and implementation of new systems and programs as needed
Works with Bookkeeping Supervisor in all areas, including adjustments for Federal Reserve and JP Morgan Chase for error resolution, Jack Henry/processing, daily balancing, NSF activity
Performs related duties as assigned
