Job Title:Senior Coordinator, Culture and Engagement

Department:People & Culture

Reports To:Vice President, People and Culture and DEI

Status:Exempt

Primary Objective:

Responsible for creation and delivery of seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle, in order to optimize workplace engagement and inclusion.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify and drive philosophies and programs to foster and optimize employee engagement. Develop and oversee employee engagement plan and programs.
  • Facilitate, in conjunction with Internal Communications, communication initiatives for Team Members. Identify and employ effective feedback loops.
  • Gather, measure, analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and metrics to develop recommendations and strategies to facilitate positive employee engagement.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Rewards and Recognition programs.
  • Build external relationships with community organizations.
  • Define, develop, and manage affinity groups.
  • Work collaboratively with regional sports teams to drive DEI initiatives.
  • Identify and create a calendar of events for heritage and other cultural celebrations.
  • Develop relationships with other departments to successfully inject DEI lens for initiatives and celebrations.
  • Partner with key collaborators across the business and People and Culture function.
  • Assist Internal Communications with production of department publications such as Team Member Handbook, newsletter, understanding these are critical publications for Team Member success.
  • Organize preparation and execution of Event Staff employee incentive programs and events.
  • Develop and maintain department calendars and timelines pertaining to Team Member programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain a professional rapport with Team Members, understanding their needs and attitudes towards employee programs and events to ensure objectives of Team Member services are met.
  • Administer and compile results of Team Member Surveys and distribute reports to stakeholders.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in communication, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience working in employee engagement, DEI or human resources with at least one (1) yearin a lead position or in a position with a high technical capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word and Excel required. Familiarity with SharePoint administration preferred.
  • Familiarity with Human Capital Management (HCM) and time and attendance systems, and people analytics reporting is preferred. Workday and UKG experience is preferred.

The Mariners are committed to providing competitive pay,perksand benefits packages for our valued Team Members.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $68,000.00- $82,000.00 annually. The Mariners also provide a robust and unique offering of perks and benefits including paid public transportation, concession and merchandise discounts, special access to baseball games and other public events, anda numberofexclusiveemployee incentives.
