Retail Sales Supervisor

The Sea Pines Resort has a brand-new, higher-end retail merchandise shop in the heart of Harbour Town! The Starboard Shop offers an assortment of apparel and gifts that feature the Sea Pines Resort’s timeless lighthouse logo and encompass The Sea Pines Resort lifestyle. Team members will have the unique opportunity to join the store’s inaugural launch and contribute a lasting impact on The Sea Pines Resort guest experience.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Retail Sales Supervisor will support the store leadership team by performing functional tasks as assigned. You will act as a mentor and role model to employees to support service behaviors and the execution of tasks in specific areas of expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you will strive to achieve personal and store sales goals while prioritizing the customer experience through supervision and guidance of the team
• Assist upper management to drive results through a strategic and multifaceted approach
• Responsible for key opening and closing duties and operational tasks

Demonstrate flexibility and desire for individual growth in a fast-paced store environment

• Foster customer relationships by continually developing personal knowledge of current trends and coaching styling techniques
• Empower team to ensure the highest level of customer service standards while exercising leadership and multi-tasking capabilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 years of relevant retail experience preferred
• A self-starter with the desire to mentor and continue to develop personal leadership qualities
• Energetic, motivated and engaging; a true brand ambassador with a love for fashion
• Knowledge of clientele with the ability to build lasting customer relationships

Technologically savvy individual with an entrepreneurial spirit

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear.

· Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

· Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

· Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
