POSITION TITLE:Intern-Research

POSITION SUMMARY:Interns receive occupational experience, supervised training and can develop their professional skills to work independently. Duties include basic laboratory maintenance such as glassware washing; autoclaving; media, solution, and buffer preparation; replenish supplies and follow experimental procedures assigned by laboratory staff.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Part-time: Up to 19 hours per week.
• This position is not eligible for benefits.
• This is a year-round position, not a summer intern or other short-term internship.

COMPENSATION:

• The expected hiring range for this position is $16.85 to $19 per hour, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university educational program. Undergraduate enrolled in a relevant scientific program, e.g., biological or life science, strongly preferred.
