We are looking for a Seasonal Cook to join our Adventurous Scout Adventure team based in Hawkhirst, Northumberland.Location : Hawkhirst Scout Adventures, Plashetts, Hexham NE48 1QZSalary : £29,537.

60 (Pro-Rata) Band C, Level 3 - (inclusive of Market Supplement)Term : 6 months Fixed term contractWorking Hours : 40 hours per week required to do some weekends where requiredWe’re Scouts and everyone’s welcome here - all genders, races and backgrounds.

We help them speak up, play their part and shine bright.About the Seasonal Cook Role : As the seasonal cook, you will be providing delicious and nourishing meals that contribute to the overall enjoyment of their time at Hawkhirst.

You will also be joining our great team of over 30 international staff and volunteers who provide memorable experiences for our young people.

What we are looking for in our Seasonal Cook : You will be joined by a Kitchen Assistant to help you create a great catering environment which includes, menu planning, preparing meals & Leading Volunteer team to comply with Food Safety in kitchen and ensure Health and Safety standards are upheld.

At least 2 years working in a large professional kitchen environment,ei schools or mass cateringProven competence in providing basic catering for up to 200 for Breakfast and LunchExperience of problem solving in a customer service focused environment.
