Substituteteachers (Prek8th grade) for our year roundprograms. Substitutes are needed at all agelevels preschool elementary school middle school andafterschool.
We are looking fordedicated candidates who have enjoy working with children ofvarious ages. Schoolhouse values student choice openended play aconnection to nature and positive support for students and seeks toprovide a school environment dedicated to antibias and socialjustice practices.
SubstituteResponsibilities include (but are not limitedto) :
- Followingall procedures and policies of TheSchoolhouse
- Coordinating with teaching staffyou are working with
- Overseeing the programrhythms and activities.
- Adhering to the lessonsand expectations articulated by the supervisor orteacher.
- Ensuring student safety and wellbeingat all times
- Ensuring indoor and outdoor spacesare kept clean and orderly.

Background check and fingerprinting isrequired. Proof of a high school diploma or higher educationrequired. Reliable transportation is a must as the Schoolhouse isnot on a public transportation line.
