Description
Schochet is currently seeking a Part Time Porter at Danforth Heights.
Danforth Heights is a 166 family apartment community located in downtown Portland, ME.
Duties include but not limited to;
- Complete the final cleaning of an apartment during the unit turn-over process. After property maintenance staff completes renovations on an apartment, the janitorial staff goes into the unit and prepares the unit for the new resident.
- Trash room maintenance and property trash removal. Duties in this area may include: cleaning of trash rooms; cleaning of trash shoots; preparing trash containers for pick-up by trash company; picking up trash around exterior of property and removing trash from hallways and other parts of the building where items may have been left.
- Delivery notices to each unit as requested by property management.
- Light maintenance such as painting, and patching.
- Cleaning the leaves off the drain and exterior stairs.
- Assist maintenance and/or property management staff by providing outside vendors with access to apartment units.
- Walk the property daily collecting trash and replacing burned out light bulbs as needed.
Hours are Monday-Friday; 8am-12pm. Interested candidates please forward resume here. Pre-employment background check will be performed. EOE
