Schochet is currently seeking a Part Time Porter at the Weldon House .

Weldon House is a 105 Elderly/Disabled apartment community in Greenfield, MA.

Duties include but not limited to;

• Daily cleaning of building, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning all floors. Including completing final cleaning of an apartment during the unit turn-over process. After property maintenance staff completes renovations on an apartment, the janitorial staff goes into the unit and prepares the unit for the new resident.
• Trash room maintenance and property trash removal. Duties in this area may include: cleaning of trash rooms; cleaning of trash shoots; preparing trash containers for pick-up by trash company; picking up trash around exterior of property and removing trash from hallways and other parts of the building where items may have been left.
• Delivery notices to each unit as requested by property management.
• Light maintenance of miscellaneous repairs.
• Cleaning the leaves off the drain and exterior stairs.
• Assist maintenance and/or property management staff by providing outside vendors with access to apartment units.
• Walk the property daily collecting trash.

Part hours- 8am-12pm, Monday -Friday. Must live within 30 minutes of Greenfield for rotating on-call and have a valid driver’s license and own transportation. $150 premium paid for all week’s that you are on-call, additionally you are paid a time and a half rate for any emergency calls plus travel time.
