Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
- Handle phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
- Process payments and maintain cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
Experience:
- Previous experience in front desk or guest services roles preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage
