We are currently recruiting for the position of:
Warehouse Supervisor - Merced, CA

Responsibilities:

• Meet safety, quality and sanitation standards for dairy products in warehouse

• Supervise hourly associates to meet production and accuracy goals for inbound and outbound shipments
• Maintain daily production and accuracy records
• Ensure the most economical and efficient use of equipment to accomplish assigned work within time constraints
• Ensure that all safety, security, sanitation laws and policies are adhered to by all personnel on a daily basis
• Partner with the Inventory Control Coordinator regarding warehouse space allocations, slotting or merchandise and general inventory control procedures
• Coordinate with HR, Labor Relations, and Warehouse Manager assisting with investigations, discipline, and counseling for a wide variety of warehouse team member relations issues and topics
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Hiring pay range: $23.08 - 33.20

Requirements:

• Knowledge of warehouse practices and systems
• Strong familiarity with typical warehouse conditions and equipment
• Supervisory skills – training, coaching, working with and through others to achieve results
• Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Triceps), EDP applications knowledge, and use of general office equipment
• Requires strong communication (written and verbal) skills
• Must be highly functional in a team environment and have strong cooperation and team building attributes
• Should demonstrate an eagerness to learn and take on new tasks and challenges
• Understanding of Save Mart’s supply chain, safety procedures and sanitation protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Experience: 3 years relevant warehouse experience, 1 year of Management, Supervisory, and/or Leadership experience

Education: 2 year/ Associate Degree and/or Equivalent experience/training
Other: Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays. Exposure to warehouse environment with temperatures ranging between 34 and 95 degrees.
Physical: Sitting, standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, climbing(i.e.. stairs or ladders), moving machinery, lifting over 40lbs, Lifting Up to 20 lbs., Carrying Over 20 lbs., Gross Manipulation (i.e. Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand(s)), Repetitive Hand/Arm Use, Operating Motor or Power Vehicle, Use of Protective Equipment
