The Sandbox at Derby is HIRING! We are the area's newest, hottest 65,000 sq ft entertainment complex that features a two story restaurant, Derby's largest rooftop deck, cornhole, sand volleyball and pickleball with The Pulley Event Center next door.

Summer is here and we are looking for FOH Managers to oversee all staff, budgets and operations at The Sandbox at Derby. The Manager's responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing staff and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Toast experience is not a must but is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Design strategy and set goals for growth
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Set policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
• Direct the employee assessment process
• Prepare regular reports for upper management
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Skills

• Proven experience as a Manager or similar executive role
• Organized
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Pay is based on experience

Must be available nights and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
