About this opportunity :

• This position is responsible to assists in running the afterschool program ensures well-being of children in the program;
• orders snacks and supplies; keeps statistical records up to date; collects and tracks fees; prepares reports for reports for Corps Officers / Program Director and parents;
• prepares programs and materials; provides transportation; helps ensure program areas are assist in the development, promotion, and implementation of after school programs for the Corps including youth club programs;

summer / day camp; recommends creative and innovative ideas for program development; assists in overseeing and running activities and programs of the after-school youth club.

What we are looking for in you :

• 45-hour school-age class or six college credit hours in an education related field, in addition to high school diploma or equivalent AND
• One year experience working with children in a child development field, preferably with a faith-based program. OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must meet TSA Safe from Harm requirements.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to occasionally lift light objects weighing less than 24 pounds.

Some work is performed outdoors and occasionally in cold or inclement weather.
