EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Education and/or work experience commensurate with the duties and responsibilities required. The individual must have/obtain yearly certification in first aid, CPR, and a Food Handler's card.

SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Resident Advocate (RA) is responsible for the safety and security of those who are receiving shelter. Treating all those receiving shelter with dignity and understanding, the RA enforces policies and procedures and provides crisis intervention with residents. Any special or unusual concern is to be brought to the immediate attention of the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
