Job Objective :

What You Will Do :

• Assist people with questions, donations, and general information
• Price bric-a-brac and placing on shelves
• Place newer and higher priced items on a special table to look up and price.
• Hang clothing when needed
• Sort and separate holiday item's
• Help check drop box daily- empty when necessary
• End of shift- Clear sorting tables, sweep floor, clean up your area
• Assist with day-to-day store needs
• Other tasks as needed by leadership

Minimum Qualifications : The requirements listed below are representative of theminimal education, experience, skills, and / or abilities required for this position.

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

Background Checks : Position requires a background check to be completed and all background check results will be reviewed.

Experience : 2 years retail experience preferred

Certifications : Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army's

Drivers' qualification standard; must complete Safe from Harm training within the first 90 days of employment.

Skills / Abilities :

• Able to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership, field personnel, and clientele.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and ability to learn electronic reporting systems

• Good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity
• Lifting, pulling, and pushing of materials up to 25 pounds

Working Conditions : Work is performed in a typical Thrift Store environment
