TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES Job Description: The IT Security Analyst is responsible for effectively implementing enterprise security strategies, and maintaining security tools that are used across the organization. This associate interacts with vendors for support and works directly with other IT team members and business users to address problems and security needs with a rapid response. This position is responsible for the daily security activities and monitoring across a variety of applications;
Responding to alerts.
Monitors phishing emails and investigates concerns.
Helps perform security review of new technology to be used within the organization prior to purchase.
Research and identify security incidents, threats, and mitigation strategies; performing "hands on" security/vulnerability mitigation as required.
Perform vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
Troubleshoots, recommends, and executes action plans for issue resolution.
Investigates, reports, and remediates security threats and incidents.
Monitoring and Maintaining SIEM detection rules and log collections.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to take on responsibility with confidence and determination.
Experience and understanding of a variety of operating systems.
Highly driven to take initiative, complete tasks and self-motivated to increase their value to the team
Knowledge of Information Security procedures and controls.
Knowledge of common information management systems
Must have experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint or similar documentation tools and practices.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge and experience of various control frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, PCI, SOX
Experience with AV, IPS/IDS, network routers, switches, firewalls.
Experience Required
2 Years Information Technology Experience
Education Level Education Details
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
