The S.P.O.T. is a (primarily) pediatric therapy group with a location in Durant & Ardmore, OK with more locations expected in the future. We have a passion for helping the pediatric population in our area to achieve their greatest potential. It is a fun and upbeat atsmophere. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process referrals for patients to and from specialists, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Obtain necessary medical records and documentation for referral processing
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of referral forms and documentation
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorizations for referrals
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with medical office staff to ensure seamless coordination of patient care

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and managed care processes
- Familiarity with therapy office operations is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
