Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our team in our Settlement Department.

As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our legal team and assist with various tasks related to legal research, document management, and contract administration.

Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of legal documents
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including different types of stipulations
- Maintain document management systems and ensure proper filing and organization of legal documents
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as necessary

Experience:
- Prior experience with No-Fault as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using document management systems and legal research databases
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
