Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink and food selection
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in hospitality or food service preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with a diverse clientele
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food handling regulations is a plus
