The Roosevelt Room is Hiring an Assistant Event Coordinator Near Windham, ME

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to help the Event Coordinator who would be able to set up, work events, breakdown events, and help the event coordinator run the room.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and emails from prospective clients
  • Run Roosevelt Room social media
  • Scheduling and creating events
  • Set up and break down of an the Roosevelt Room
  • Interact with customers, cook food, raffles, and favors.
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and help with set up.
  • Clean up and wipe down tables and other surfaces
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Be 21 years old or older

Skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of Google Drive
  • Computer Literacy
  • Good Customer Service
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Able to move and set up banquet tables
  • Square POS knowledge preferred
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized and clean

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
