Job Summary:

Looking for a Roofing Estimator that is very proficient with creating estimates and proposals for Roof Work. We use Exactimate and other bid software. Candidates must have proven experience and be a team player. The Roofing Company self performs 90% of our work. We do not gather bids from subs and combine them into an estimate. We are an established company that has positioned itself very well to fully take advantage of opportunities or downturns in the future.

Duties:

- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Utilize software such as Xactimate, and Eagle View for precise estimations
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies to discuss and increase payments on claims
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters to advocate for total roof replacements on behalf of our clients.
- Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Accurately estimate retail jobs, ensuring all aspects of the job are covered.

Qualifications:

-Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Xactimate is a plus
- Strong ability to negotiate contracts and prices effectively
- Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but optional
