The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles (LA... is Hiring a Physical Education Teacher Near Bellflower, CA

The Physical Education teacher is responsible for planning and implementing P.E. classes for 2nd-8th, monitoring students at recess/lunch, evaluating student outcomes, maintaining student records, promoting good sportsmanship and conflict resolution skills, and health programs. The P.E. teacher also helps to plan and organize our annual Field Day and Sports Awards Events. The P.E. teacher also serves as the assistant of the Athletics Director and helps communicate with parents about upcoming practices and games. A full description of duties will be provided to the candidate during the interview process.

Requirements

Virtus Training and Live Scan Fingerprinting
CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
Responsible for preparing lessons, grading accordingly and PE Standards
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Previous experience
Strong Organizational and Communication Skills

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
