Don Bosco Technical Institute is a private, not-for-profit high school in Los Angeles County. The school specializes in STEM education, preparing young men for university engineering majors.
We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a full-time technology instructor for the 2024-2025 school year at Don Bosco Technical Institute (Bosco Tech). This role encompasses three distinct areas: Faculty instructor, machine shop specialist, and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) mentor. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the design process, mechanical engineering, CAD, and have a passion for project-based learning. They will also be adept at integrating technology into the classroom, workshop, and lab environments. Experience working with high school-age students, and knowledge and experience in robot coding (Java), basic robotic principles, and construction (pneumatics, wiring, sensors, electronics, motor controllers) are required. Candidates who are familiar with FRC robotics will be given preference.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
